Nasty Russians - But Better than Marco Island Government

Those dammed Russians.

They point nuclear missiles at us. They hack our elections (or so we are told by the Communist News Network). They stole the designs for the atom bomb. They throw out our spies in retaliation for us throwing out their spies in retaliation for poisoning a Russian double-agent spy in retaliation for said Russian becoming a double agent - in the UK no less. They turned a paradise 90-miles from our shores into a nuclear-narco slave state that destabilized the entirety of South America. They spread murderous communism throughout the world that we had to address in so many ways causing untold deaths and massive expenditures. They bought fair and square from the Clinton Criminal Syndicate most of our uranium. Hell, they beat us into space.

But unlike the City of Marco Island government, when Russian citizens are gassed by toxic levels of hydrogen sulfide gas, the Russians take action.

As reported today in the BBC and other news outlets (won't read this in the Eagle or the Naples Hick Times):

Russian officials say a state of emergency will be declared in the town of Volokolamsk, north-west of Moscow, where thousands have protested over toxic fumes from a landfill site.

Hydrogen sulphide in the town's air was at least 10 times above the permitted level on Thursday, although locals said it was far worse than that.*

Here on Marco Island, the government was the one doing the gassing, then blamed the citizens for 1)complaining, 2)getting sick, 3)claiming that the gas was noxious.

Those dammed Russians. But when it comes to those that were governing Marco Island during the gassing, perhaps there was some prophetic nuance in the saying "Better Red than Dead."
